Bend your knees.
Place your weight on the balls of
your feet in your skates.
Tilt your chin so that you can see
what's in front of you and the puck
on your stick.
As you bring the puck across your
front, shift your weight onto your
right skate.
At the same time, curl your top-hand
wrist and finish with the top of your
hand facing down
so that your stick blade is cradling
the puck.
